5. A major cause of hair loss is stress. If you are carrying a lot of pressure on your shoulders where work is concerned, it will be suggested that you take a holiday to relax and unwind. Stress builds up slowly and with time can lead to a lot of premature as well as normal hair loss. Cut down on your work or activities a little to take care of yourself.

6. If you are on prescription type of medicine and undergoing some treatment for ailment or illness, you should consult your physician about your hair loss and also ask him to prescribe medications that will not further it.
